Cloud VPS, for when it has to stay up.

The same root access and the same panel as standard VPS, on a self-healing cluster with three-way replicated NVMe and storage you can expand as you grow.

Ordering into TierPoint Dallas. Same price either way.

Storage is expandable at order time, and quarterly, semi-annual and annual billing cycles are set in the cart. Every write lands on three NVMe nodes, and the two datacenters replicate backups to each other.

How it stays up.

Three mechanisms, all of them infrastructure rather than promises.

A failing host is not your outage

Cloud VPS runs on a cluster rather than a single machine. Performance Guard watches host load and shifts workloads onto spare capacity before performance degrades, which is the real mechanism behind the older "self-healing" wording.

Every write lands on three NVMe nodes

Storage is replicated three ways. Losing a node does not lose your data, and the two datacenters replicate backups to each other for cross-region recovery.

Storage expands as you grow

Increasing storage is an option in the cart, not a rebuild onto a bigger box. This is the difference that usually decides it: standard VPS tiers are fixed, Cloud is not.

What every plan includes.

Identical on the $10 tier and the $160 tier. The only thing that changes between plans is how much of it you get.

cPanel and DirectAdmin are available as optional control panels. Without one you get a plain command line, which is what most of our customers want.

Unmanaged, stated plainly.

It is the reason the price is what it is. Worth reading before you order rather than after.

We run

  • The hypervisor, the host hardware and the network
  • Power, cooling and physical security, via TierPoint
  • The VirtFusion panel and its API
  • Clean OS templates you can rebuild from at any time

You run

  • The operating system, once it is booted
  • Your web server, database and application stack
  • Updates, hardening, firewall rules and users
  • Your own backups, beyond the panel's DR tooling

LiveChat, ticketing, a knowledge base and a community forum are all available for questions about the platform. They are not a substitute for administering your own server, and we would rather say so here than imply otherwise.

Questions worth answering before you order.

How is this different from standard VPS?

Three things: the cluster keeps you running when a host fails, storage is replicated across three NVMe nodes, and you can expand storage in the cart. Standard VPS is cheaper and fixed-size, starting at $3.50 against Cloud's $10.

Can I choose which datacenter?

Yes. Every Cloud plan is orderable in Dallas or Philadelphia at the same monthly price — use the picker above the table and the order link changes with it. Philadelphia puts you within a few milliseconds of New York, DC and Boston.

Can I really add storage later?

Yes, it is an option in the order cart. You are not re-provisioning onto a larger plan and migrating your data across.

Is it still unmanaged?

Yes. The cluster, the replication and the hardware are ours; the operating system and everything you install on it are yours. The availability guarantees are about infrastructure, not about someone administering your stack.

Do I get root access and the API?

Yes, on every Cloud plan, exactly as on standard VPS. Full root or Administrator, the VirtFusion panel, and the REST API behind all of it.

What about longer billing cycles?

Quarterly, semi-annual and annual cycles are offered in the cart. The prices shown here are monthly, and monthly pricing is identical in both datacenters.

CS-3 starts at $10 a month, in either datacenter.

Replicated storage, a self-healing cluster and full root. Ordered from the cart, not from a salesperson.
