TekTonic started in 1997 selling shell accounts and email hosting, and has been selling virtual private servers for over twenty years. We have never been a general web host, and that focus is the whole business.
What we actually sell
Unmanaged KVM virtual private servers, at a fixed monthly price, from enterprise datacenters. The unmanaged part is deliberate: it is why a server with full root access costs $3.50 a month rather than five times that. We sell control and price, not hand-holding.
Two brands, one platform
TekTonic and Togglebox run on the same infrastructure in the same TierPoint facilities. The difference is packaging: Togglebox bills hourly, sells managed support and multi-server setups. TekTonic is the fixed-price, unmanaged, single-server side. If you want someone else to administer the box, Togglebox is the honest answer.
What we are not going to tell you
We have no customer logos to show, no case studies and no benchmark charts. What we have is third-party verified reviews we cannot edit, a 99.9% SLA on the platform, and prices you can read without filling in a form.
