Monitoring isn’t limited to what you host with us. Point a monitor at any external target: a service at another provider, a client’s site, or a third-party API your stack depends on.

What check types are supported?

How often do checks run?
As often as every minute. Each monitor has its own check interval, so a production site can be checked every minute while a low-priority service is checked less often. You set the interval when you create the monitor and can change it any time in the client portal.
How do notifications work?
When a check fails, monitoring notifies you by email and SMS, and again when the service recovers. Notification and renotification settings are configured per monitor in the client portal, so each service can alert the right people and repeat the alert on your schedule while it stays down.
What does Proactive Monitoring do?
